Diwali in South Goa's Club Mahindra's Emerald Plams, Varca

This festival of lights was special for me this year. And this year I am in Goa, celebrating it in Emerald palm resort at Varca.
It was incredible to see how each and every stranger came together and celebrated this festival.
I normally do not burn crackers, but I did last night.
The place is wonderful. Good architecture, an round the clock activity center, 4 fountains, a pool, gym, spa and a restaraunt to dine in.
The kids can enjoy in the fun zone or the Trampauline and Aqua- Zorbing by the pool. The adults can enjoy the spa, gym and the bar by the pool side.
It seems to be secluded but once you get here you do not feel the need to go out until you want to go to the market, Churches and absorb some culture.

What I had Today

Today I had Green Apples covered with Condensed Milk and topped with Chocolate Vermicelli accompanied by Scoops of Butterscotch Ice-Cream.
Sheer delight for me. I practically had the whole apple as dessert and could not help myself stop at all.

Cream Bell's Blue Lagoon

Hie Everyone !!!

Okay I know you guys might think that I only post the ones who are steal. But seriously I post only the product that I think are budget friendly and worth the moolal's. Today I had gone to D.Y. Patil Department of Business Management for some work. And while coming back I felt this totally unbearable urge for an ice candy which would not go until I had it.

So to pacify that hunger pang I went ran to my favourite ice cream store and was so fussy about that I did want to have either this or that. In the end the store owner was so fed up that the poor guy had to tell me there is this new one called Blue Lagoon would you like to try it?

I was like, yes. Why not!

He went to the inner refrigerator and searched in it. Finally he came out with the cute baby blue packet. I was so eager to dig into the first bite that I literally ripped the packaging. And trust me, I always tear the wrapper neatly and properly. Today that didn’t happen. So I guess you guys understand my excitement.

And when I saw the ice candy, my jaw dropped. It was in the colour blue that was very much similar to the shade of ice in the movie ICE AGE 4. Then what, there was no turning back after that. I took a bite and MAN !!!! What to say? There was this, this, this heavenly mint gel which a bit darker than the outer coating, just looks at you with those puppy dog eyes. I had one bite and just kept on going. Didn’t stop at all.

This product is reasonably priced at INR 10/- per piece. It is a value for money. It is pocket friendly and amazing.

Pros:
Refreshing
Gel Centre
Feel Good Effect
Budget Friendly
Availability

Cons:
None that I can think of.

Hello Everyone !!!
Today I am going to have Masala Puri . I had this during my visit to Bangalore. My aunt wanted told me that it is a special regional chaat and I must try it. And I was game for it.

I was thinking that I have had masala puri loads of times in Mumbai then what is so special about this Bangalore one.

When I saw it I felt a bit confused and didn't what that thing in my hand was but when I tasted it. Boy! It knocked my socks off. I just couldn't get enough and I wanted more and more.

I had the best Masala Puri at GANESH CHAAT  behind Florence School in RT Nagar.

And here is my attempt of replicating it in my kitchen.

Lay's Football Favourites Review

Lay's Football Favourites
Hello Everyone !!!
Today we are going to review the Lay's Football Favourites. Okay,  Drum-roll please !!!! Ta da ta da ta da ta da ta ...... The collection comes in three flavours Cheesy Jalapeno, Tangy Herb and Apple Chilli.
The first flavour that I tried was Tangy Herb. The thing that hits is a sweet taste, a bit unexpected but I was a pleasant and I liked it. Later I got the taste of various herbs.

The next flavour was Cheesy Jalapeno. You get the right amount of seasoned cheese on every chip. And the combination of Jalapenoes and cheese go perfectly well. I simply LOVED it. I make sandwiches with cheese and topped up green chilly chutney and it works with me and most of my friends. I say good job Lay's by getting this combination in the market.

Apple Chilly is really Lovely. I reacted a bit skeptical when I first heard about this combination. But when I had a chip. And My God !!! I couldn't stop. It reminded me of the Carribean Hot and Sweet Chilli.
I seriously hope everyone tries it out before they are finished or out of stock from the market.
Unusual combination and teamed up with excellence !!!
The Splurge Or Steal:
Definitely a Steal.

Maybelline's Color Show Glitter Mania Review

Hello Lovelies !
The Maybelline Color Show Glitter Mania is here. It is a product for which I have waited a long time, basically since the moment I laid my eyes on the Color Show Brocades on the international site of the brand. And today we are going to review it.
Firstly we are going to start with the packaging of this particular product. It is exactly same to the regular Color Show bottles and the only difference that I could spot was the label having a section stating "Glitter Mania" and a Bar-Code next to it. I didn't find the packaging appealing at the personal level. That may be as I was expecting it to be distinct and different.
Secondly I would like to focus on the shades in this collection. The shades are contemporary and very unique. I have purchased All that Glitters and Red Carpet because the gold and red go really well together.
We Indians we just love the golden colour as it has mythological significance and also as the most prefered investment. All that Glitters is an awesome shade. It has actual glitters in it of assorted sizes. When applied on the nails looks so good. This shade is well suited for any occasions as it is a soft and subtle shade of gold and not at all loud. It can be worn for corporate as well as informal events.
Moving on to our next shade that is the Red Carpet. The ladies out there will love this shade. It is a red based colour and has golden coloured micro glitter in it and does not have the assorted sized glitters as the previous one. This shade is most suited for occasions like weddings, sangeets, reception, etc. basically for any occasion that requires loud or bold colours.
The lasting power is pretty neat. I had applied only a single coat. Being eager to find the value of the money spent on this I did most of the household chores. And astonishingly this single coat after doing the chores it lasted for five days before it started to chip off. And always remember to check out the Maybelline website for the current offers available before purchasing. Well I got a shimmery pouch on purchasing two Color Show Glitter Mania nail colours.
I was bored of the glossy and shiny looks of the nails paints currently available in the market and despirately wanted a change. I love the Matte look of this collection. I will definitely buy this product over and over again. It is the best substitute to the Pixie Dust range by Zoya. And one of the best things is that it cannot be scrapped off easy by finger nails as some of us have that habit of scrapping using our teeth or nails.
The only drawback is that the feel is a bit awkward and pulls the strings of certain types of fabrics. But we can get used to it.
The price is only INR 125/- and is very reasonable.
The pros and cons of the product are as follows:
Pros:
Price
Availability
Matte effect
Shades
Lasting power
Cannot be scrapped
Cons:
Feel is a bit different
Ratings:
I would rate this product a 4.7 on 5, i.e. 4.7 /5 just because the feel is a bit different.
Splurge or Steal:
           A 100% Steal !!!
Comments:
It is a must buy product and every girl must have a shade that describes her from this collection.
